To
help folks find long-lost college classmates online, Eric Tomacruz
'89, Ph.D. '94, has created the World Alumni Page (http://www.alumni.net),
and he and a bunch of Cal volunteers are constantly adding new
schools and countries. "We're doing it for the fun of finding
people on the Internet," says Tomacruz, a San Francisco software
engineer. "We're just a bunch of hackers with nothing better
to do with our time."
